Esta perda de carga \u00e9 causada por micro-curtos-circuitos internos e reac\u00e7\u00f5es qu\u00edmicas laterais indesejadas. A taxa de auto-descarga torna-se mais not\u00f3ria em condi\u00e7\u00f5es de temperatura e humidade elevadas.
