Quando um determinado conjunto de pilhas atinge este valor de tens\u00e3o, a placa de prote\u00e7\u00e3o da pilha de l\u00edtio corta o circuito de carga e p\u00e1ra o carregamento. Se a tens\u00e3o de carga exceder este valor, o que \u00e9 vulgarmente conhecido como sobrecarga, a bateria de l\u00edtio pode queimar ou explodir.<\/p><p>Por conseguinte, as vantagens do balanceamento passivo de c\u00e9lulas s\u00e3o o baixo custo e a simplicidade de conce\u00e7\u00e3o do circuito.
