Mais l'attention mondiale s'est accrue en 2016 lorsque Uber a lanc\u00e9 son initiative \"Uber Elevate\", la premi\u00e8re vision structur\u00e9e d'un r\u00e9seau de mobilit\u00e9 a\u00e9rienne urbaine. En pr\u00e9sentant les eVTOL comme une solution \u00e0 la congestion urbaine, Uber a d\u00e9clench\u00e9 une vague de recherche et de d\u00e9veloppement parmi les g\u00e9ants de l'a\u00e9rospatiale, les constructeurs automobiles, les entreprises technologiques et les startups.<\/p><p>Pourtant, les lacunes en mati\u00e8re de technologie, de r\u00e9glementation et de mod\u00e8les commerciaux ont emp\u00each\u00e9 une v\u00e9ritable commercialisation des eVTOL. La perc\u00e9e s'est produite en 2024, lorsque l'appareil chinois EHang EH216-S est devenu le premier eVTOL de passagers au monde \u00e0 recevoir une certification de navigabilit\u00e9 et \u00e0 effectuer des vols de d\u00e9monstration commerciaux \u00e0 Guangzhou et \u00e0 Hefei. Peu apr\u00e8s, l'alliance de Joby Aviation avec Uber a fourni une autre voie claire vers le march\u00e9.<\/p><p>En ao\u00fbt 2025, Joby a acquis l'activit\u00e9 passagers de l'op\u00e9rateur d'h\u00e9licopt\u00e8res Blade pour $125 millions et a conclu un accord avec Uber pour int\u00e9grer le transport a\u00e9rien dans l'application Uber d'ici 2026. Cela permettra \u00e0 des centaines de millions d'utilisateurs d'acc\u00e9der de mani\u00e8re transparente \u00e0 des trajets multimodaux \"terre + air\".
