Mais il existe une batterie au lithium qui se recharge plus vite que vous ne finissez votre caf\u00e9, qui dure des dizaines d'ann\u00e9es de plus que votre voiture et qui refuse de s'enflammer m\u00eame si vous y plantez un clou.<\/p><p>Il s'agit de la <strong>Batterie au titanate de lithium (LTO)<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Malgr\u00e9 ses sp\u00e9cifications \u00e9tonnantes - plus de 25 000 cycles, chargement en 6 minutes et fonctionnement s\u00fbr entre -40\u00b0C et 60\u00b0C - le LTO reste un acteur de niche. Pourquoi ? Pour deux raisons : une densit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique plus faible et un co\u00fbt initial plus \u00e9lev\u00e9. Mais dans les applications o\u00f9 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, la long\u00e9vit\u00e9 et les performances \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures extr\u00eames sont plus importantes que l'autonomie, le LTO s'impose les piles au titanate de lithium portent le nom de leur mat\u00e9riau d'anode - le titanate de lithium (Li\u2084Ti\u2085O\u2081\u2082). Ce choix unique d'anode conf\u00e8re aux batteries LTO leurs caract\u00e9ristiques distinctives.<\/p><p>Une batterie LTO utilise du titanate de lithium (Li\u2084Ti\u2085O\u2081\u2082) comme anode, qui a un potentiel d'\u00e9lectrode d'environ 1,55 V par rapport \u00e0 Li\u207a\/Li. La tension nominale de la batterie d\u00e9pend du mat\u00e9riau de la cathode qui lui est associ\u00e9.<\/p><p>Par exemple, l'association du LTO avec une cathode en oxyde de mangan\u00e8se lithium (LMO) donne une tension nominale d'environ 2,4 V, tandis que l'association avec une cathode en phosphate de fer lithium (LFP) donne environ 1,9 V.
